1. Characteristics and purpose

The Foundation of Culture for Cardiology and Multidisciplinary Sciences Livia and Vittorio Tonolli, wishing to honour the spirit and passion of its founder Livia Tonolli for science, culture and young people, establishes 2 contributions to the study for students from the Verbano Cusio Ossola, residing in Italy, who have completed the course of secondary schools and regularly enrolled in the first year of the Faculty of Medicina at any Italian university.
Contributions to the study are awarded to cover part of the costs of university enrolment and are EUR 1,500 each.

Candidates will need to draft one of the following topics:

2.1 Allocation mode

The contributions will be awarded by the Tonolli Foundation, at its own discretion, and at the proposal of at least 3 members of the Scientific Committee.

2.2 Application and related documentation

Applications for admission to the competition should be sent to the Tonolli Foundation to or by ordinary mail to: Nazioni Unite 64, 28925 Verbania by 31 October 2022 and be accompanied by:

2.3 Payment of contributions

The contribution will be paid by bank transfer following the submission of the relevant documentation for enrolment at the university by the end of 2022.  
The Foundation’s decisions will be communicated to interested parties by the end of November 2022, and contributions to the study will be awarded only to students who have passed the admission test and in any case following the rules in force. The documentation will not be returned.

2.4 Status of fellows

The beneficiary will be required to send to the Foundation all documentation relating to membership of the University.
